It was indeed a great experience to trek for 9 days through Nayapool –
Tikhedhunga – Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Tadapani – Chhomrong – Bamboo – Duerali – Annapurna Base Camp (23 Apeil – 1 May 2023) with my team. Especially when it started to snow at time we were about to enter the main gate of Ghorepani, the first in my lifetime experience of snowing. Poon Hill with thick snow was exciting and the clear view of the mountain range had added to me an unforgettable memory. Definitely, every single trail of the trek was worth of our sweat n muscle. Along the trails, plenty of tea houses with the facilities of restaurants, hot shower, hot water, charging of battery, heater etc, made our trekking convenient n friendly. I saluted to the porters who helped to bring our belongings and necessity to ABC, professionally. The guides (Ishwor & Bipin, from Sali Trekking) were approachable and responsible. When I discovered I misplaced my wallet, Mr Ishwor was helpful to arrange it to be sent from Pokhara to Kathmandu, in time for me to leave for my hometown. Though it was a regret not having a clear view (it was snowing heavily on 29 April evening n 30 April morning) of Annapurna range at close-up from ABC, it drives me to come back again stronger n more commited for ABC? or EBC? or other attractive trails… Bye Bye Nepal, I will come back again.
